Sunday, May 28, 2006Hello everyone!! i'm back!!Well, 3 major papers for common test is over.. now left with the 2 sciences. i really hope i can do ok for this time's common test. =X Anyways, today, i just want to update on something me and mei yi were talking about yesterday during our training, and that's friendship. We both agreed that friendship is just like being in a relationship. When friends become friends at first, all their good points seem so distinct and outstanding. And those were the good times. But then, as time passes, things turn a little sour. Suddenly, all their strenghts seem to be buried deep beneath their weaknesses and we start to become intolerant of their every movement and ever word. This is especially so during examination periods where stress seem to get everyone more grumpy than they wish to. And just like in a relationship, this is where the real test starts. Are we going to accept this friend for who she is, or are her weaknesses so overbearing that you can no longer tolerate? Sadly, some people succumb to life tests like these, but as for those who manage to pass this obstacle, their friendship will become even stronger than before. And i'm glad to say that my four besties past this test to become who we are today. Although we aren't as close anymore and we're starting to drift away a little, perhaps because each of us have our new friends and new surroundings, but i know that no matter what and where we are, we'll be there for each other emotionally and mentally. And i certainly hope that now, as we get to hang out and talk to each other less and less, that we'd be able to pass this test of time, and faith for each other. yup, that's about all for now... gotta rush to my grands. tata everyone!!! Sunday, May 14, 2006i broke my record on fri night. i cried throught the night. i fell asleep only at 5.15a.m and woke up at 9a.m. it was an amazing 4 hours of sleep =( my dad said i was a toad and my mum called me a panda. well... i couldn't help it... thre korean show was just too nice!!! and it was so touching!!! and the love story was so... argh!! i dunno!! i wish i was tt girl. haha.. *snaps* back to reality. i only watched till so late because i've g0tta return the vcds to my grandaunt today. sigh, wish i could keep it and watch it over and over again.since the last time i played badminton for tournament, i havent whacked a shuttle till yesterday, and it was B.A.D. as in really atrocious. i couldn't even serve the ball!! not to mention... to whack it! argh!!! but i kinda got a BIT of touch back after a while. hehe.. (phew) ok.. so i was really tempted to come back and watch the vcds again after i came back from macs at bout 12.30p.m but scruff insisted that i went to bed cos i really looked extremely tired. and... as much as i wouldn't want to.. i went to bed. =X anyways, i awake and shining now!!! haha.. and my blog isn't dead pple.. just tt i didn't really come online cos i was just too busy too. yup... food for thought: How easy is it to retain that natural self once we start interacting with people. How easy is it to not wear a mask and be what you are when the thought of being alone becomes so terrifying. How can people refrain from paranoia. Could we be that innocent, know nothing child we once were? Sometimes, being dim-witted is a good thing huh. ah wells. that's just life. i guess after watching the show, i learnt that having a heart of gold and retaining that heart of gold is essential to bring us through the visissitudes of life, and more importantly, retain that one true self we are.
